Coconut milk is quite good for your heart's health. It helps control weight and keeps blood sugar level under a check. Also, it helps you feel full faster and hence very beneficial for people who are trying to lose weight. If you feel full, you tend to eat less. Moreover, it also reduces your bad cholesterol and is a great cure for arthritis and joint pains. Coconut milk has some beauty benefits too. It moisturises your skin and nourishes it from within making it look beautiful and soft. When purchasing a beauty product, try to get one with coconut milk. 

How to use coconut milk in cooking ?

There are many ways of using coconut milk. Adding it to your chicken (or beef) dishes when you are slow cooking them or add it to a saute pan when you are cooking chicken, just for flavour. You can make two rice dishes with coconut milk - a coconut rice and a baked coconut risotto. If you're adding coconut milk to a dish, balance it out by adding lime juice or even some cilantro or black pepper

Add flavour 

You can add coconut milk to pasta dishes, sweet potato dishes, protein drinks and oatmeal. When adding it to oatmeal, stir it in once the oatmeal is cooked. You can also try replacing milk and cream with coconut milk when making homemade pancakes or pudding.
